Founder Kate Meier, a mother of three, has spent over two decades immersed in the restaurant world, witnessing firsthand the struggles, challenges, and pitfalls faced by those who dedicate their lives to serving others.

From long, late-night shifts to financial insecurity, from health crises to housing instability, Kate saw how often hospitality workers were left to navigate hardships alone. As a parent, colleague, and advocate, she carried these stories with her—staying vigilant, determined to find a better way.
